Today I would like to talk to you about an ancient technology capable of transforming the heart and soul of the self. I am talking about gentle stretching and breathing exercises that can be done daily for 10 to 20 minutes at the comfort of your home. Though there are different forms of yoga (e.g. hatha yoga), when I think of yoga as a philosophy, I think of total wellness, peace of mind, and the union and communion of the physical reality with the spirit world. Not only is meditation beneficial for lowering stress levels and for lowering blood pressure, but it is also a wonderful technology that allows us to forgive ourselves. Yoga-Meditation is total liberation of the noisy and polluted physical world. Yoga-Meditation is a journey to a dimension of calmness, self-compassion, and awareness.
Yoga and breathing exercises have allowed me to connect with the divinity within while living in a stressful, and misfinformed world. It is so wonderful to be able to take time for oneself in order to meditate and to analyze our individual and collective experiences. The world is moving too fast. Let meditation slow down your central nervous system. Slow down your aging process by slowing down your way of living. Yoga is beauty and longevity. To yoga is to heal our perception. We are what we experience. Yoga is an ancient and contemporary art of expression that that allows us to build and shape who we are. Yoga is the science of introspection and reflection. Meditation allows us to detach ourselves from reality, and to be able to experience serenity, cosmic presence, and gut insight. Life, the universe is information. Learn to tap to your inner cosmic library written in your DNA, in the collection of your cells, in what makes you BE-YOU! Yoga is a way to break free for it allows us to experience the living and pulsating heart of nature itself. Besides helping blood flow circulation, yoga is a way from toxic negativity and better clarity.
When I think of yoga I think of felicity, wellness, radiance, relaxation, and awesome Cali-Palm-Vibes of the desert. Yet, the atmosphere is vital for yoga to work for it is the way we identify with the environment and with objects what determine who we are. Through self-exploration, I have found that incense such as palo and sage are wonderful ways to enhance the ritualistic experience to the journey of the self. I have also found that soothing music (e.g. icaros) in the background bring comfort and deep emotional and spiritual healing of the body, mind, soul, and spirit.
Yoga is a natural technology, a science to the understanding of the multidimensionality that we are beyond…way BEYOND our physicality. What is so beautiful about yoga is the fact that yoga brings transformation and it allows us to be who we want to be. Yoga is the science and technology of self-care while truly experiencing the past and the future in the present moment. To meditate is to heal the mother within. To meditate is to connect to the solar consciousness of the earth. With utter dedication, Yoga-Meditation is a way to achieve inner wisdom. Yoga is the artistic path of cosmic devotion. Yoga is a philosophy that engenders acceptance, and it allows us to become less self-absorbed, less self-centered, less selfish, and more respectful towards our temple, our body.
Yoga is a tool of soul-retrieval, a discipline that originated in India, and is now widely known in California as well as other states in the nation and other countries of the world such as Guadalajara, México where my friend, Medicine Woman Ale Padilla teaches Hatha Yoga. Yoga is strength as it is deep transpersonal healing. Not only is yoga a great way to relieve chronic pain, and chronic stress patterns, but it also a great way to relax the nerves thanks to total body awareness. The magic of the physical world is living in the moment…creating in the moment…healing in the moment with what’s around us. Listen to your body. Think of yoga as an organic software upgrade of the human experience. Yoga makes humanity more open-minded, more curious, altruistic, friendly, and philosophical. Emotional healing comes when we are forgiven, and when we truly give meaning to life. Yoga-Meditation has taught me that I have the power to create my own destiny, and I have the power to heal myself. I am a creator. I am a creatrix force. I am what I believe. Trauma of the body can be healed with patience, faith, and tenacity. Yoga is pure medicine of the heart. Yoga is meditation that allow us to build and to strengthen core muscle while becoming an Aya-Knight of life. To awaken is a choice. Yoga is a treasure, a choice to want to heal and to bring prosperity and self-confidence into one’s life. We are self-aware memories upon memories of mysterious biology and gravity. We literally have the entire world on our shoulders. Graving is constantly pushing us down to the center, to the core of the earth. Exploration of the body, mind, soul, and spirit is the cure to our disconnection with the planet.
The earth has given us bodies to explore the nature of who we are. Yoga is pure solar energy and the more you practice, the brighter your magnetic field becomes. You are more than a mechanical automaton. You are a human. You are the eyes, the touch, the sound, the scents, the movement… you are the LOVE, the taste of the universe.
Yoga is the tool and technology that we need in the 21st Century. It has been on earth for a reason, for desperate times, for times in need of self-knowledge and self-awareness during desperate times when the self initiates the path towards self-destruction. Yoga is a gift of our ancestors, a way of saying, “We Are With You.” Yoga is the harmony observed in the ripples of a pond. The human needed in the 21st Century is a human of compassion, empathy, responsiveness, and perceptiveness.
