Kratom is found in a synchronistic-serendipitous way… Or at least that’s how it came to our family.
Say no to collective trauma! As stated by Media Psychologist Dr. Rutledge in Psychology Today, “the more anxious and stressed we become, the more vulnerable we are to misinformation. Anger and fear diminish our ability to feel empathy for others.”
Let me take you on a guided journey. Imagine walking in a lush jungle. Morning dew. Soft tropical rain. The scent of the soil is mystical. Drenched rain giant leaves all around. Listen to the wildlife. Listen to the birds and the water flowing down the rivers. This is a kratom paradise… You are on the island of Borneo, Indonesia.
It is rapidly becoming known that fifteen million Americans purchase online kratom from coast to coast in the United States alone (American Kratom Association, 2020). Kratom, a life-giving botanical, has received severe criticism and unfair judgment in our society for quite some time (The Yale Tribune, 2020). Such actions have caused people purchasing natural botanicals (like kratom) to experience feelings of public, collective shame when people are simply trying to improve their quality of life with conscious self-regulating behaviors, self-care, and spirituality.
Reshaping kratom in America has been… and continues to be a collective effort. Americans have written letters to congress and the senate. People have gone out to protest in the name of kratom. There have been hearings from coast to coast. People have called key roles in their communities. There have been online surveys, petitions, and scientific studies. People have come out of their ordinary life into becoming activists and ambassadors of kratom. The movement is indeed admirable and emotional, to say the least.
It has not been easy to clean up the distorted narrative of kratom that has been painted by corporate media and ignorance. Thanks to the American Kratom Association (AKA), scientific articles, and millions of dedicated people across the country have come together online and offline in support of this wonderful botanical, including the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine (YJBM) in June of 2020. The online community is quite impressive. A lot of volunteer work has been done by people going through a rocky life. Their work is meritorious and sincere. Kratom Rallies have taken place across the country, including one in Sacramento, California back in January 2018. There was even a hearing, which took place in February 2020 in San Diego, CA where members of the board are in the process of becoming kratom literate. What started as protecting and getting to know the heart of a leaf of hope has become a strong and emotional movement of the people in America with bright hope. No wonder kratom is also known as a sociable tree. Kratom brings people and emotions together… and connects us even further to our roots while living in the 21st Century. In a world lacking an authentic connection and acknowledgment of the earth’s supernal wisdom, becoming informed is protection.
Individuals have reported feeling embarrassed to purchase kratom in person. Our Online kratom boutique provides clients comfort and peace of mind knowing that their package will arrive on time and it will be discreet because we value privacy.
There is a big difference between smoke shop kratom and raw, pure kratom that is sourced directly from the motherland by ethical people who truly care about making a difference in the world. Unfortunately, some people cannot even get to purchase kratom due to online misinformation to the point of running away and not finding out what the whole drama behind kratom is all about.
Kratom will make a scientist out of those who are patient. No doubt about that…
Kratom is a natural, botanical that grows in the wild of tropical regions and heavy rains. It is often purchased as ground leaf powder for spiritual purposes. Bringing into America is a tedious process. As of July 2020, there are forces working to make it even more difficult for kratom stores to provide this botanical. Shipping the raw material (despite being a natural legal botanical) has been and continues to be a major concern. It is also very important to mention that the Indonesian government is trying to make kratom illegal within the next 4 to 5 years.
Kratom has rich folklore, and women not just in Indonesia but in America have a special place for these trees in their homes. The Dayak people of Indonesia have been the protectors of these majestic trees. These trees can also be found in in places like Thailand, Malaysia, and New Guinea. Yet, 95% of the kratom worldwide comes directly from the lush island of Borneo, Indonesia (American Kratom Association, 2020). The question is: What’s going to happen in the next 4 to 5 years? That’s why your support is so vital. Kratom almost became banned in 2016 here in America but thanks to thousands of people kratom continues to be available. The power is in the voice of the people. Kratom is part of our natural heritage. Education is key
According to the American Kratom Association (AKA), kratom is as American as our Vietnam Veterans who were luckily one of the first individuals to come into direct contact with these majestic trees. Since the 60s Veterans started importing kratom and little by little kratom has become part of the everyday American culture.
Kratom provides comfort to millions of hard-working Americans from different paths of life. Not only has kratom being misclassified, but the treatment from the media and other organizations has been quite unjust (The Yale Tribune, 2020).
There are many, many reasons as to why people purchase online kratom. Know that when you are purchasing ground leaf or crushed leaf kratom here in our boutique, you are helping families survive this global pandemic. Mother earth, the creatrix has birthed these beautiful trees for humans to respect them and to honor them. Kratom trees are indeed Godsend and it is vital that we learn to appreciate them.
Here at the Kratom of Life Sanctuary (KoL) we are all about #kratommedialiteracy. Becoming informed is a great step towards the eradication of the stigma behind kratom created by misinformation. Today you can help preserve plant legality through education. Today you can help change the narrative and give kratom back its indigenous ancestral legitimacy. Know that if you are new to the kratom family, there are wonderful online support groups waiting for you to join the conversation and scientific articles that follow the science. The best thing you can do while living in a media-centric society… in today’s war of information… is to become a researcher and a scientist. Apply the scientific method to your everyday experiences.
…Observe. Ask questions. Gather information. Hypothesize. Experiment. Evaluate. Report. Draw your conclusions.
Here at the Kratom of Life Sanctuary, we care about kratom psychology, a psychology that embraces the body, mind, science, and the spirit of life as an intelligent, ancient force of infinite expressions. We care about people becoming knowledgeable and empowered. We care about helping others restructure their relationship with the earth through the archetype of healing the mother within and connecting with hyperdimensional, geo-driven wisdom. We care about approaching kratom as a sacred-teaching botanical, and as a way to promote Psycho-emotional inner peace with the assistance of meditation, sound, and aromatherapy. Kratom is a wonderful tool of emotional self-care. Botanicals are tools of transformation. Plants are our grandmothers and grandfathers, and we are deeply inspired by the healing arts of the Shipibo People from Peru, and it is an honor to acknowledge kratom as a personalized spiritual ritual, a ceremony of life, and as a way to enhance the spirits. It is our passion to create a sanctuary of indigenous wisdom from all around the world. The flora and the fauna (like us) are carriers of ancestral wisdom, and as conscious beings, it is our duty to protect us all.
It is heartbreaking to realize that kratom, also known as Mitragyna speciosa (or ketum) has been treated as an illegal substance for many years. The reality is that kratom has been and continues to be federally legal in the United States and in many countries in the Americas, in the western hemisphere, and many other places on the other side of the world like the Czech Republic. Only a few states, cities, and counties in America have completely banned or limited the sale of kratom.
The war on kratom is a war worth fighting because kratom gives people back their lives. To be a kratom warrior is to be a warrior of freedom and unity. When one fights for kratom, we are fighting back ignorance, deception, misinformation, and ancient paradigms that are out of touch with the current times.
Mitragyna speciosa is a tool, a personal ritual of emotional self-care…
Mitragyna speciosa trees have provided shade for thousands of years. Come under the shade and let’s talk about hyperdimensional ways to connect with the earth and your inner self. Welcome to the Kratom of Life Sanctuary where cultivating inner energy, calmness, and sociability is at the core of our philosophy.
